Miss Haberdash enjoys....

A great Melbourne weekend, starting with Africa United a film showing at the Melbourne Film Festival (MIFF). Brilliant colour, cute animation and a heart warming story. The cool sound track, "silky football skills" and enthusiastic cast make it a great family film.

The city was buzzing, partly due to Melbourne Open House which gives you a chance to go behind the scenes and see inside some iconic buildings. It's on till Sunday and worth a look.

I also saw the exhibition Paper City (part of the State of Design festival) at the Town Hall. A fascinating look at letterheads from the 1840s, all sent to the City of Melbourne. A must see for those with a font fetish! open till end of September.
