Miss Haberdash wrap up ....

Times are a changing, after seven years working in South Melbourne Miss Haberdash is moving on. Before I go, here are my favourite lunchtime haunts.

Opposite South Melbourne Market, gigi a la maison sells antique French and vintage enamelware, gorgeous, but beware of the price tags.

The Community Chest op shop on Bank Street still has a clutter that excites, real bargains and friendly staff.

But, South Melbourne's hidden gem is the Australian Tapestry Workshop. Producing contemporary hand woven tapestries the studio creates unique works of art. The workshop hosts regular guided tours.

  1. It's been lovely bumping into you at markets around town. Hope you're back some day with some brilliant thing that makes a million bucks!
