Many moons ago Miss Haberdash exhibited at
New Designers a showcase for UK design graduates. Now 25 years on it's still going strong and continues to spotlight art and design across all disciplines.
This year
Mirjana Smith caught my eye. Whimsical teapots are assembled from items sought out at charity shops, boot sales and auctions. They're so very appealing, witty and full of character.

They remind me of the folk art assemblages made by Americans, Bill and Marcia Fink. I first saw these in
Elle Decor magazine, set against pristine white walls the work looked fantastic. I've tracked down these images, no easy feat.
