Last night fabulous friends took me to the opening night of Infinity. Three new works created for the Australian ballet by Graeme Murphy, Gideon Obarzanek and Stephen Page. A birthday treat.

The foyer was filled with fashionable melbourne gals sipping champagne. There was definitely a buzz in the air, expectations were high and we weren't disappointed. Here's a glimpse of the costumes starting with Jennifer Irwin for Graeme Murphy. Body suits were covered in geometric shapes and dotted with silver to emphasise the dancers physique.

Next, Gideon Obarzanek made us laugh with his witty interpretation of Swan Lake. Costume designer Alexi Freeman complemented the piece by combining a strong graphic print with black and white fringing that became an extension of the dancer.
